Tryouts
Post 156 Baseball has two tryout windows
Our primary tryouts take place in late July. Players offered spots at these tryouts are eligible for our Full Year program including Fall Ball, Winter Workouts and the Summer Season.
Our secondary tryout takes places in late April/early May for any players still seeking a team for that Summer Season. Spaces are extremely limited for secondary tryouts.

What to Expect
Our goal is to be able to get to know both the player and the player's skills.
Baseball is hard. We want to give kids a chance to showcase what they can do and also see their appetite to learn and be coached.
Players will bat, field (catchers should bring their gear) and pitch (if that is a position of interest)
Players should wear baseball attire including long pants. (NO METAL CLEATS)
We will observe, provide coaching and give feedback during the tryout.
Once tryouts are done we will communicate via email with an offer to join our program or a decline.
